Who We Are

GoGreen Somerville is a coalition of businesses and non-profit organizations that leverage relationships, knowledge, and resources to green the Somerville businesses community.

What We Do

GoGreen Somerville helps businesses in Somerville, MA to go green with environmentally friendly and economically sound innovations and practices. We offer comprehensive programs to help businesses achieve greater environmental sustainability through consulting, educational and networking services.

Our business consulting program takes businesses committed to becoming more environmentally sustainable through a six-step assessment process over the course of six months to a year.

Greening buildings that house businesses is a key component of making businesses more environmentally sustainable. We are piloting ways in which building owners, tenants, architects, and green service providers can work together to green whole buildings.

Neighborhood initiatives build on the strength of community and geographical proximity to find innovative ways of going green at the business district level.

We offer an up-to-date comprehensive resources list to help businesses go green.

Our business network allows businesses to learn from each other and problem-solve hurdles on the path to greater environmental sustainability. We offer regular workshops where best practices are shared.
